Why am I here? This is the most important question you’ll ever ask about yourself? It’s the question that goes for the biggest issue in a person’s life — a sense of purpose. Your sense of purpose is important. Your sense of purpose provides you your sense of life direction. Many people are wandering aimlessly through life with little to no direction because they have no understanding of their purpose.
You can’t answer the question of purpose without God, and without a relationship with God. Either there is a God who knows you and created you for a reason, or life is a meaningless existence.
David the psalm writer, found his purpose by discovering God has his Creator. David realized that God had an intimate knowledge of him, and made him for a purpose. Look at what David had to say about this in Psalm 139:13 (NLT) “You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.”
David knew that God was the One who created him, and God created him for a purpose. His life wasn’t meaningless, it was purposeful.
God made you for a reason too. Ask Him to help you discover your life purpose!
