God cares about you and wants to restore you! What a true statement! God loves us and has the ability and capacity to restore the broken places of our lives. The challenge we can experience sometimes is believing God wants to restore us.


One day a man with leprosy approached Jesus with an interesting declaration. His words revealed that he knew Jesus could restore him to wholeness, but he wasn’t sure if Jesus wanted to. The story is found in Matthew 8:2-3 (NLT), “Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached him and knelt before him. ‘Lord,’ the man said, ‘if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.’ Jesus reached out and touched him. ‘I am willing,’ he said. ‘Be healed!’ And instantly, the leprosy disappeared.”

Dear one, know that God cares for you, and yes, He desires to restore you. He knows exactly how, and He is willing to put the broken pieces of your life back together. An important thing to remember is that if you want to be restored, you have to be at rest and planted in your spiritual commitments so God can work in you and minister to you.

Always, and even more in times of difficulty and uncertainty as we are facing now, God wants us to know that He is present, able, and willing to make us whole again!
